I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!  I’m thankful for all of you reading this right now and coming back to see OUTNUMBERED, week after week.  I wish I could do it everyday, but I’d rather do a decent job and be regular with it and only post once a week.  Oh, and feed my family with the other work I do!

Well, it’s Megan’s turn to take a “dance break” from the strip.  The animator in me enjoys doing these, but its really an homage to the great “Calvin and Hobbes” strip where Calvin and Hobbes dance across the strip.  There’s a gag at the end, I but I can’t remember it.  But I will always remember the pure joy of looking at that strip and all the fun Watterson had drawing it.  It was obvious and addictive.  There will be more Dance Breaks (hopefully one for every member of the family, eventually) but they also serve as “palette cleansers” inbetween story arcs/ long arcs.  That’s the idea, anyway.  Plus, I hate doing the lettering and balloons.   A BIG thank you to the ever awesome Andrew Chandler for his great job on this week’s coloring.  He went above and beyond.  See his comic strip, “Moth and Ethan” via the banner on the right.

Also note, I slyly got her hair back long again.  Sorry for those that liked it short.  Ever since animating Pocahontas, I kind of like drawing long hair.
